The benefits of CLASS homeschools:
Will they become a statistic?
Are your children learning that their faith is for all aspects of their life, for all of their life?
In the past decade there has been much talk and multiple surveys and polls questioning, and indicating, that we may be losing our teens. Some statistics have suggested that nearly 75% of children leave the church as they grow older. Still others have reexamined these statistics and question whether or not the problem is of that magnitude, or debate what the actual reasons are for the exodus. One research group suggested that among the reasons for teens leaving the church, were concerns that Christianity seemed shallow, was antagonistic to science, had simplistic answers for life, and wasn't tolerant.
Do these ideas come from a nurturing home education environment, where our children learn that "the word of God is living and active" and where they see our faith lived out in all areas of life and thought, where they learn how scientific study flows from God's orderly creation, and where they are taught to be concerned for al aspects of that creation? Or are these the thoughts and beliefs that come from spending eight or more hours, five days a week, learning in an environment divorced from God and His word?

Weighed in the Balance and Found Wanting
Why is public education failing, and what is the alternative?
"education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism, and every American public school is a school of humanism. What can theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week, and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?"
